If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services or participate in our programs.

2. Eligibility and Membership

Volunteer Eligibility

To volunteer with our foundation, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old (or 16 with parental consent)
  • Complete our volunteer application process
  • Undergo appropriate background checks if required
  • Attend required orientation and training sessions
  • Maintain current health and wellness certifications if applicable

3. Volunteer Responsibilities

Prohibited Conduct

The following conduct is strictly prohibited:

  • Sharing confidential information inappropriately
  • Accepting gifts or compensation from individuals served
  • Using volunteer position for personal gain
  • Violating any laws or regulations
5. Liability and Indemnification

Volunteer Liability

As a volunteer, you understand that participation in our programs involves certain risks. You agree to assume responsibility for your own actions and conduct.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nurse Nyima Health & Wellness Foundation, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your volunteer activities, except to the extent caused by our negligence.

Insurance

The foundation maintains appropriate insurance coverage. However, volunteers are encouraged to maintain their own personal liability insurance.

6. Termination

Either party may terminate volunteer participation at any time, with or without cause. The foundation reserves the right to immediately terminate participation for violations of these terms, code of conduct, or for conduct that endangers safety or well-being.

Upon termination, volunteers must return all foundation property and cease using any foundation resources or identification.

7. Disclaimer

The foundation makes no warranties or representations about the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of the information provided.
